Very inspiring. I feel like I am getting at least a glimpse of such an amazing trip. Thanks for taking me along!

Great seeing you all in San Francisco. I only wish we had more time.

What a fabulous way to experience vicariously your travel ventures. Your photos are stunning!
Safe travels in the months ahead as the journey becomes ever more challenging.

Rainer - Your blogs just keep getting better and better. I love the mix of itinerary and philosophy. I have to go to Orcas Island some day -- that pic of Stefan in the lavendar field is one of my favorites so far. I like your RoadTunes book idea, too. Say hi to Ca--she looks like a white water rafting warrier in that picture! Your making our lives seem pretty boring back in Beantown...

I'm going to keep this brief:

Gone are the days we stopped to decide
where we should go
we just ride

What a trip! Godspeed.

Glad to see that you were able to stop over on Maui during your year-long trek. The last two paragraphs really makes me appreciate the fact that I live in Hawaii.

I haven't made the "Road to Hana" drive yet but hope to do so by the end of the year. Aloha!
