I was struck by this haunting image in our new Mumbai Photo Gallery, online at Traveler's website today. The photo's caption says this is the iconic Mosque of Haji
Ali-Dargah, "a beautiful white building with domes and minarets built on
a rock off the mainland, accessible by foot only during low tide." I'm sure it's beautiful during the day, but photographer Michael Rubenstein magnificently captures the island's isolation as the light seeps out of the sky.
